Today, Cas-Sus cats are living in many countries around the world; Japan, Norway, Poland, USA, Belgium, Finland, New Zeeland, Denmark,
France, Ukrain, Irland, Croatia, Germany and Sweden obviously;)

It is me Susanne and my beloved daughter Cassandra who is behind Cas-Sus and Cassus! We have a small cattery located in Stockholm - the capital of Sweden. Our cats are beloved family members and live indoors in our home with us at all time! Our cats are our best friends and we miss one another a lot if we must be apart for some time… We love animals and we are truly living our dreams with our cattery! Our catteryname Cas-Sus comes from our nicknames Cas (from Cassie or Cas) and Sus. It was first registred in Fifé 2003-02-25 and our cattery name CASSUS in TICA January 2007. In 2010 we have also registred our cattery in CFA - the world's largest cat association. Me and my family have always had horses, dogs and cats. It’s as important to me as the air that I breed – could never live without them! I couldn't possibly describe my passion and great love for my Ragdolls!! They are my best and sweetest friends. Every night we cuddle together in the sofa, watching TV or maybe playing together. There is NO limit in the love of these beautiful lapcats!

BREEDING GOALS

We have high goals with our breeding. We try to select out the best offsprings and improve the following generation. We always look far ahead in the planning of mating and so on. We think it's vital to import new lines to better the genepool, this we will do on a continuous basis. 

 In my opinion there are to many small Ragdolls at this time and the temperament is not always Ragdoll-like! One goal of ours is to produce really large Ragdolls, as they once were. But without loosing TYPE! It's a challange;)

We like to show our Ragdolls as often we possibly can! Of course as long as the cats enjoy it themselves. It has really become an addiction to attend shows! It’s such a thrill and one loves it when it's going great! Our goal is to breed cats that are Champion of higher. Of course it will be some exceptions, for example if a cat really doesn't like the shows. Or if we decide to breed from a cat that has a mismarking, we will not show that cat, but he or she would be valuable for our breeding anyway.

HEALTH AND TESTING

When importing new cats to our cattery, we always test for
 Fiv and FelV before the new cat enter our cattery.

We do not keep more than 6 cats together in the same group.
Everybody knows that stress can lead to illness for the cats. So to be able to keep the cats needed for our breeding program, we have some of our cats living with friends, and a few is with host families. Our goal is to improve every generation in some way, so we do not use the same cats for ages. I also think the cats deserve a real spoiled pet life when they are finnished breeding. When that time comes, we find a permanent home with the right loving family for that cat. Neutered of course.

KITTENS

We only sell kittens to live indoor as beloved family members! Of course you must have trees for the kitten to let it avoid your furniture! Quality catfood and a lot of love! Toys, fresh water, carrier, brushes, kittensand, kitten toilet and company for the little sweetheart! When the kittens leave our home they are used and taught to only scratch at cat trees! They are very socialised and used to children.

We usually welcome visitors when the kittens are from 6-7 weeks old. Breeders who are at our waiting list for breedingcats do have the first chooice to the "best" kittens. Sometimes one can not see mismarkings until the kittens are 8-10 weeks old. Also one must make sure that the kitten stand with a high quality for breeding and show. Sometimes one can of course see that a kitten doesn't hold for show and breeding right away, in that case an early reservation can be made.
